Marketing Intern
About The Position
Primary Purpose of Position: Assist in marketing and communications activities for assets within the Boston region portfolio. Essential Functions: Assist Marketing Department with three to four projects, as assigned. Projects may include the following: Research and develop programming and communication ideas to support activation goals at assigned property. Assist in staffing and execution of planned events throughout the region; suggest enhancements. Assist in creating content and messaging for social media platforms as assigned. Support goal of consistency across regional properties for branding, signage and event execution. Provide on-going support to marketing team as needed. Non-Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program required.
- Completion of freshman and sophomore years preferred.
- One year of prior work experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe design programs preferred.
- Experience with social media platforms including Twitter & Instagram required.
- Ability to confidently and professionally interact with co-workers, vendors, community partners, office and retail tenants, and other clients in an articulate and courteous and manner at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team as well as independently.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organization and multi-task management skills.
