About The Position

The Marketing Intern supports the Animal Management Marketing Team in delivering Gallagher’s Retail Excellence strategy across North America. In this role, you will assist with writing, digital initiatives, event coordination and retail management. Additionally, you will assist with Gallagher’s social media presence in North America and gain hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms such as the Gallagher AM website, Digital Asset Management tools and Content Management System. This internship offers a broad, practical introduction to integrated marketing within a dynamic, customer-focused environment. This position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of onsite presence in the office 2–3 days each week.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with analytics tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of marketing and product campaigns across North America, ensuring that all activities are executed in alignment with our Regional Marketing strategy.
  • Support our network of influencers and partners by coordinating product shipments, campaign ideation and reporting, and invoice payment.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling offers and materials that align with overall marketing and campaign objectives.
  • Manage content across various marketing technology platforms, including website, social media, CRM, and marketing automation tools, ensuring regional content is available and up to date to support efficient operation and optimization of marketing activities.
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc marketing needs as they arise, addressing urgent tasks and supporting other departments with marketing-related activities.
  • Ensure sufficient and relevant resources, POS collateral as agreed with the product launch, promotions and marketing plan.
  • Assist with organizing event materials and working with warehouse staff to develop a standardized packing and inventory system for all show supplies.
