Consumer Brands is seeking a proactive, energetic, creative and detail-oriented marketing intern who loves brands , storytelling , bringing ideas to life and gets excited about projects that make a difference in the home of every American consumer . As the association that champions growth and innovation for food, beverage, household and personal-care product companies, Consumer Brands represents the makers of iconic household brands consumers love and trust. This position will work hand-in-hand with teams across the organization to contribute to the marketing , creative development and positioning for Consumer Brands‘ programs , strategic initiatives and events. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with the ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Key areas of responsibility: The Marketing intern will directly support marketing and our association on high-visibility campaigns, events and strategic initiatives, most notably, the CPG Summit , CPG Legal Forum and National Consumer Transparency Week . This internship also provides opportunities to become familiar with end-to-end project management , the creative development process and gain professional experience. Examples of some of the tasks you’ll be doing include: Create emails, web copy and social media content and toolkits to drive our campaigns and interest in organization programs , strategic initiatives and events. Assist in s upport ing and organizing brand assets and event collateral for Consumer Brands’ annual CPG Summit (CEO-level audience) and CPG Legal Forum Work collaboratively throughout the organization to create messaging for internal stakeholders to drive awareness on Consumer Brands’ impact to our membership and prospective members. Proofread, edit and QA marketing materials for accuracy and brand consistency. Help draft, collect and manage content for event websites, newsletters and upcoming programs. Contribute to additional team initiatives and priorities, as needed.
