About The Position

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll join Geekdom’s creative team to help tell the stories of the startups, founders, and events that make our community thrive. This is a hands -on opportunity to gain professional experience in digital marketing, community engagement, and brand storytelling while working in a dynamic, fast -paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a marketing, communications, PR, or related program.
• Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
• Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
• Energetic, curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with content creation for social media, newsletters, and the Geekdom blog.
• Support marketing campaigns promoting coworking memberships, events, and programs.
• Capture and organize photos and videos from community events and workshops.
• Help manage the marketing calendar and track campaign performance.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance member engagement and brand awareness.
• Collaborate across departments to align messaging and voice with Geekdom’s mission.
