About The Position
Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our structured internship program. This internship provides hands-on experience in casino and hospitality marketing, player services, promotions, and media operations, including exposure to TV and digital marketing initiatives. The intern will work closely with the marketing team and gain real-world experience in campaign planning, promotions, player engagement, social media, and guest communication strategies within a fast-paced casino and racing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in marketing, communications, advertising, media, or business to gain practical experience in the gaming and hospitality industry.
Requirements
- Pursuing/graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or related field
- Strong communication and creative thinking skills

Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing campaigns and promotions
- Support player services and guest engagement initiatives
- Help coordinate casino promotions and events
- Assist with social media and digital marketing content
- Support TV and media department activities
- Observe advertising and branding strategies
- Help track marketing performance and guest engagement
- Assist with promotional materials and communications
- Attend marketing and planning meetings
- Participate in a structured internship and mentoring program
- Complete a marketing-related business challenge project
