As a Marketing Intern at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will work closely with the marketing team, you will design and produce visual materials across print and digital channels while gaining exposure to the broader strategy behind hospitality marketing. Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. Requirements

Best aligned to students with strengths in graphic design or a related creative field.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is preferred, though a strong willingness to learn these programs is essential.
Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week during standard business hours throughout the summer.
Proficiency in social media video editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, and other in-app editing platforms preferred.
Interest in learning and growing within hospitality marketing , including brand storytelling, promotions, and guest experiences.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
Creative thinker with strong visual design skills and a professional, team-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality, tourism, or marketing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Support photography, videography and graphic design efforts, by capturing and editing compelling content that enhances the resort’s visual storytelling across digital and social platforms.
Support the marketing team in executing creative campaigns that promote resort experiences, events, dining, golf, spa, and seasonal offerings.
Assist with concept development and creative execution that aligns with brand standards and marketing objectives.
Update and adapt existing creative materials using established templates and brand guidelines.
Resize and format creative assets for use across various digital and print platforms.
Maintain and organize the resort’s digital asset library to ensure brand consistency and accessibility.
Collaborate with marketing team members and resort departments to bring promotional ideas to life.
Create and optimize AI prompts, scripts, and storyboards to boost creative efficiency and enhance output quality.
Stay up to date on current events, industry trends, and emerging social media content to contribute fresh, on-brand creative ideas for both paid and organic campaigns.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Support broader marketing initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned.
