About The Position

Responsible for gaining hands-on experience in various marketing activities and contributes to the growth of Voluntary Benefits at Trustmark. Key Accountabilities Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging content for flyers, emails, PowerPoint presentations and other marketing materials. Campaign Support: Aid in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including idea generation, asset creation and tracking of results. Email Marketing: Assist in the crafting of emails to various audiences that may include Trustmark employees, sales organization, brokers, or customers. Analytics and Reporting: Provide support in the collection of data and the analysis of various of tactic and campaign results. Investigates consumer trends and campaign performance to deliver actionable insights for campaign planning. Event Coordination: Provide support organizing and promoting various events using a variety of marketing tactics designed to increase awareness and participation. Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as updating and organizing files, maintaining databases, and coordinating meetings. Marketing interns are expected to attend and participate in a variety of team meetings including the mid-year marketing review meeting which is held in July. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Marketing, Marketing Analytics , Communications, or related.
  • Completed third or junior year of degreed program.
  • GPA of at least 3.0.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with data analysis, digital marketing concepts, and social media platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
