About The Position

Are you a creative college student eager to build real-world marketing experience? We're looking for a motivated intern to join our marketing team this summer. Working alongside our team, you'll have the opportunity to dive into the full spectrum of modern marketing—from social media and content creation to digital campaigns and analytics. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to real projects, learn from experienced professionals, and help tell the story of a century-old brand on modern platforms. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proactive learner with a strong work ethic and positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of office etiquette and professionalism in a workplace setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work from our Minneapolis Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with design or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with social media management or marketing platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Basic understanding of social media trends, analytics, or SEO concepts.
  • Experience running a personal, club, or brand social media account.
  • Interest in storytelling, travel, and community-based marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media & Digital Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content and managing our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok.
  • Help develop and schedule content using tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, and basic video editing software.
  • Support the creation of written and visual marketing materials, including blog posts, articles, and promotional content.
  • Assist with graphic design and video assets for digital campaigns and internal projects.
  • Campaign & Digital Marketing Support: Collaborate with the team on our summer marketing campaign and email marketing initiatives.
  • Help update and maintain content on key website pages and landing pages.
  • Support the coordination of community partnerships and local marketing events alongside team members.
  • Help with marketing research, vendor coordination, and various project-based initiatives.
  • Analytics, SEO & Platform Management: Assist the team in tracking campaign performance using analytics platforms like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Support search engine optimization (SEO) projects to improve the visibility of our web content.
  • Help manage and update content on our digital signage and partner platforms.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis that informs our marketing strategy.
  • Marketing Coordination & Brand Management: Work with the marketing team to review and optimize physical and digital brand signage.
  • Support collaboration with regional partners on co-marketing plans and materials.
  • Assist in ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
