The Role: Marketing Interns provide support to marketing departments by assisting with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and assisting with the execution of events and promotions.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills face to face interactions
  • Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming licenses
  • Constantly use physical movements necessary for general office duties: standing, walking, balancing, eye-hand coordination, finger dexterity, handling, wrist motion, sitting, reaching, carrying, vision, hearing, stooping, and twisting
  • Frequent interaction with customers.
  • Constantly use mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks
  • Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled
  • Gaming environment
  • Will be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors.

  • Non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

  • Enrolling guests in our new Players Club program.
  • Prepping areas for promotions by setting up merchandise, making copies of rules and regulations, and posting signage in the facility.
  • Executing promotions by giving out merchandise or money, explaining rules to guests, and crowd control.
  • Event ticketing, seating plans, talent management.
  • Sit in on meetings with the Twin Rivers management team and meet with our vendors to see how promotional activities and events are executed from beginning to end.
