Job Summary: The Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department in their promotional efforts. Main duties include building and supporting campaigns, completing clerical and administrative duties, and preparing promotional materials.
Requirements
- Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Ability to work in teams and independently
- Eager and willing to take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and monitoring deadlines
- College student currently pursuing a marketing or business degree with a desire to enter the marketing field
- Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing or business
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing Director with campaign planning and execution
- Own, execute, and present the results for one multi-channel digital marketing campaign
- Write copy for various marketing assets
- Assist with social media
- Distribute marketing materials when needed
- Co-facilitate onsite marketing events
- Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives
- Take part in formal and informal training activities
