About The Position

As a Marketing Intern at TruStone, you'll have the opportunity to help our Marketing team with its daily operations while developing and executing on marketing strategies - and have fun while doing it! Working collectively, you'll tackle a variety of assignments, including but not limited to: Proofreading and editing marketing content; assisting in the writing of press releases; researching relevant content topics as requested and providing recommendations; dispersing promotional collateral; monitoring public relations and media coverage; assisting with events and the event request process; tracking TruStone branded marketing inventory; archiving marketing collateral; assisting with digital operations, including website, email campaigns and social media; and assisting with any marketing audits. And, as part of the internship, you'll get to complete at least one key project to enhance your learning experience and highlight on your resume.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the internship (10 weeks, from June 2 - August 8, 2025)
  • Third- or fourth-year college students in active pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications or related
  • Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign and/or Canva
  • Strong understanding of marketing communications
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Positive teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in a fast, ever-changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks or work in unfamiliar areas
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks
  • Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace
