Responsible for assisting JLG's Marketing Avengers in all areas of marketing and public relations by following the established JLG standards and performing routine entry-level tasks and assignments. Requirements

  • Pursuing professional Marketing or Public Relations degree from an accredited university, with minimum third year completion.
  • Understanding of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; basic graphic design skills.
  • Strong verbal, graphic, and written communication.
  • Strong critical thinking and research skills; ability to organize information and translate that into other forms of communication.
  • Positive, flexible, do-whatever-it-takes attitude.
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Support JLG's online brand through the creation of engaging social media posts by attending and photographing events, organizing activities, compiling video, and performing research on trends and algorithms.
  • Engage with JLG business development and marketing staff through widely-varied assignments such as client and market research, digital filing, and database management, as well as routine organizational tasks and errands.
  • Work with the graphic design team to create print and digital materials (such as award submittals and books) which help tell a story in a clear, cool, and clever way.
  • Support and elevate JLG Events by assisting the marketing department and local leadership in event planning, promotion, preparation, and execution of events such as trade shows, philanthropic activities, internal meetings and parties, and more.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Compensation for this role is determined based on location, experience, and skills, with an hourly rate of $18-20/hr.
