USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team. This position will be located in our Middletown, CT location.

Requirements

  • Current curriculum progression towards a B.A. or B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field with a 3.0 minimum GPA
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Ability to translate complex research into common language
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Must be curious with an appetite for continuous learning
  • Innovative thinking process
  • Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
  • Experience with content creation in various platforms, including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, even if not professionally, is a plus
  • Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, Word & Excel

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Assist in the development and distribution of marketing communications and materials, including social media content, email campaigns, print and digital collateral, promotional items, and web content
  • Contribute to the creation of detailed promotional presentations, reports, and campaign recaps
  • Participate in planning, coordinating, and executing events, including tradeshows, customer appreciation events, and vendor showcases
  • Monitor and engage with social media platforms to identify trends, gather feedback, and contribute creative content ideas
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support campaign strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to promote featured products and increase brand visibility
  • Assist in efforts to attract and retain customers through targeted marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
  • Help track and measure the success of marketing efforts using analytics and performance metrics
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries and marketing archives
  • Gain hands-on experience with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, Dotdigital, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
