HDR's Transportation Business Group is seeking a team-oriented, organized, and energetic marketing intern to assist with business development and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, be able to work in a cross-functional environment and be willing to work both collaboratively and independently.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA in studies related to Marketing, Communications, and English
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Preference given to local candidates

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, cataloging marketing assets, and other data driven tasks
  • Edit, customize, and/or write project descriptions and staff resumes
  • Support the development and coordination of text and graphics and editing page layouts
  • Shadow and assist marketing staff with the preparation of materials, including statements of qualifications, proposals, presentations, brochures, award submittals, and announcements
  • Conduct research and produce documents and reports
  • Follow the company's brand strategy
  • Support other administrative duties as needed
