About The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic students with a passion to learn and contribute for our marketing internship program. For clarity, we are looking for interns to work through the end of 2025, both Summer AND Fall semesters, local to Phoenix. This internship will support the marketing department, working directly with the Sr Content Strategist and other marketing team leads to develop and adhere to project timelines. This internship will help you acquire hands-on experience and skills and provide you with exposure to both strategy and execution aspects of the work here at Desert Financial. You will gain broad experience within marketing, as well as, the financial services industry, which will prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, editing, and publishing of blog posts, articles, and other written content aligned with the company's content strategy.
• Help manage and update the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of projects and campaigns.
• Support the brand communications team in daily administrative tasks, including coordination of project plans, marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media direct mail and web).
• Assist with execution of marketing campaigns and working in the project management tool, Workfront.
• Provide feedback and ideas on special projects/campaigns.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
