About The Position

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell. The Summer Intern will act as a marketing liaison for the Specialty Infrastructure Business Unit, supporting the development and execution of digital content strategies. This role involves translating BU objectives into actionable social media plans, collaborating with internal teams, and creating a structured content calendar to guide ongoing digital communications. The intern will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration within a corporate environment.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to the internship (required).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between Specialty Infrastructure BU and the Functional teams within Hubbell Enterprise Marketing.
  • Collaborate with BU stakeholders to identify marketing goals.
  • Brainstorm content ideas and strategic messaging with BU.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Social Media, Design, Photo/Video) to prepare content assets.
  • Build and launch a structured content calendar for digital campaigns.
  • Support brand and product awareness through digital storytelling and campaign planning.
  • Assist in promoting BU initiatives such as trade shows, product launches, and key events.
  • Establish a repeatable process for BU teams to generate and execute content independently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
