About The Position

PulsePoint is a fast-growing healthcare technology company (with adtech roots) using real-time data to transform healthcare. We help brands and agencies interpret the hard-to-read signals across the health journey and unify these digital determinants of health with real-world data to produce the most dimensional view of the customer. Our award-winning advertising platforms use machine learning and programmatic automation to seamlessly activate this data, making marketing, predictive analytics, and decision support easy and instantaneous. We’re looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Intern to support our growing corporate marketing team. This person will play a key role in supporting marketing operations, creative projects, event coordination, and branding initiatives. You’ll collaborate with teams across the company and external partners to ensure that PulsePoint’s brand is consistent, engaging, and visible to the right audiences.

Requirements

  • 1+ experience in marketing, communications, or a related role (internship experience counts).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Creative mindset with an understanding of design and branding; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude — you’re eager to jump in wherever needed.
  • A passion for health tech, innovation, and building strong brands.
  • You must be located in NYC as you will be assisting with a lot of NYC-based events.

Responsibilities

  • Support graphic design needs for the marketing team, working with internal tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) to create branded materials.
  • Act as the point of contact for external design vendors, including project coordination, timeline management, and quality control.
  • Provide hands-on support for the development of marketing campaigns, ensuring creative consistency across all channels.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and ensure all materials meet PulsePoint’s visual and messaging standards.
  • Provide logistical and creative support for corporate and client-facing events, such as the PulsePoint Summit, and establish new larger events on the pipeline like the Client Advisory Council (Enterprise).
  • Coordinate with internal partners (including Medscape and WebMD) and external partners to manage timelines, collateral, and event promotion.
  • Ensure seamless execution of event materials and on-site support as needed along with the Customer Marketing Manager.
  • Support digital and ABM marketing efforts by implementing AI tools to streamline lead generation and nurture campaigns.
  • Audit and evaluate the current marketing tech stack to identify gaps and opportunities for AI-driven solutions that improve speed, productivity, and quality.
  • Stay up to date on emerging AI trends and tools, presenting recommendations to continuously improve marketing workflows.
  • Support initiatives that promote PulsePoint’s culture and strengthen its employer brand, such as employee spotlights, company events, and charitable initiatives.
  • Partner with internal teams and WebMD collaborators to bring culture-building and recruitment-supporting campaigns to life.
  • Assist in managing marketing content and campaigns from concept to final delivery.
  • Track project timelines, maintain status updates, and keep stakeholders aligned across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide backup support for the team during high-volume periods or team member absences.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $18/hour
  • Duration: 40 hours/week for 6 months, could be extended to 9 months.
