About The Position

The Marketing Insights Analyst - Residential at Infosmart Technologies Inc. plays a crucial role in enhancing the client’s leadership position in the Residential roofing sector. This position is pivotal in establishing a clear connection to customer needs, thereby empowering the organization to make strategic business decisions that are customer-led. Reporting directly to the Marketing Insights Manager - Enterprise Solutions, the analyst will support and manage various Market Research initiatives. The outcomes of these initiatives will significantly influence Product, Brand, Marketing, and Customer Program strategies for the client’s Residential business. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who operates with a high sense of urgency and possesses an analytical mindset. They should be intellectually curious and capable of developing and delivering impactful insights that will drive and support Marketing and Product Strategy. This individual must be an active listener, adept at asking questions to clearly articulate customer needs, which can then be translated into actionable market research plans. The position requires the ability to manage, plan, execute, and successfully deliver multiple insights projects of varying sizes and complexities simultaneously. A background in marketing research is essential for success in this role. Key responsibilities include planning, managing, and delivering Marketing Insights projects. Under the guidance of the Marketing Insights Manager, the analyst will execute end-to-end research projects, which encompass requirement gathering, defining research methodologies, participant recruitment, and the development and testing of research instruments. The analyst will craft questionnaires and discussion guides tailored to meet business needs, leveraging their knowledge of best practices in survey and discussion guide development. They will employ qualitative research methodologies, including moderating focus groups and conducting in-depth interviews, as well as executing unmoderated user experience testing to gather deeper insights when necessary. The analyst will analyze findings and present research results to business owners, providing actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels to drive strategy, design recommendations, experience development, and product optimization. Additionally, the analyst will support in-person customer insights focus groups and co-creation events, managing the end-to-end execution and delivery of impactful customer insights engagements that address challenging business questions and product development opportunities.
