Responsible for supporting the SCIL business development team, with a focus on events and marketing collaborating closely with the London marketing team. This role contributes to business development by coordinating and delivering marketing and events, in preparing engaging materials and managing communications.

Requirements

• Several years working in financial services marketing or business development area
• Understanding of wealth management services
• Event planning and management experience
• Proactive and able to take initiative in daily tasks
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Demonstrates trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
• Presents a smart appearance and consistently maintains a professional manner
• Capable of communicating effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Displays a positive attitude and a willingness to complete tasks as required
• A self-motivated professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• This role based in Guernsey, Channel Islands and all applicants must have the right to live and work in Guernsey and be able to provide a copy of the relevant housing qualification as part of the application process

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the London Marketing team to support the preparation, design, and sourcing of marketing materials
• Liaising with the London marketing team Coordinate local PR and media messages, to ensure consistency and brand alignment
• Manage all marketing and business development enquiries and literature, with support from London marketing for broader campaigns
• Arrange and deliver high-profile events across Guernsey and Jersey, including Christmas carol services, investment seminars, drinks receptions, and smaller client gatherings
• Assist with and attend client events in Guernsey, Jersey, Gibraltar, and the UK, ensuring events reflect the firm’s high standards
• Work collaboratively with the business development team to share best practices and drive results
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all activity in the CRM system
• Support the front of house team with general administration and holiday cover
