About The Position

The Marketing Director is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and drive brand awareness, market growth, and sales performance. This role oversees brand positioning, multi-channel marketing initiatives, and the execution of impactful campaigns to support a portfolio of brands, including a new Made-in-USA line. Additionally, the Marketing Director ensures effective internal and external communication fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience supporting and driving marketing activities at a fast-growing company
  • Experience leading and training a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience
  • Experience with marketing and monetizing data, insights, and driving an integrated messaging strategy and roadmap
  • Track record of executing integrating marketing initiatives that build brand identity and deliver on the brand proposition
  • Ability to lead large-scale projects spanning across departments and teams, with a keen eye for innovation and strategic growth?

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans to increase brand awareness, visibility and product sales through all appropriate distribution channels.
  • Oversee regular competitive analysis, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks to support strategy development and adjustment.
  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop and articulate a multi-year marketing roadmap to ensure sustainable growth and alignment with the company’s strategic goals, annual objectives, and key performance metrics.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, including ROI, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and conversion rates.
  • Lead regular reporting and insights presentations to the executive team.
  • Partner with leadership to develop plans and goals for the evolution of the company’s digital ecosystem, ensuring consistency and alignment across all company and brand websites and social media channels.
  • Champion strategies to enhance customer experience across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand values.
  • Drive efforts to draw on key team members’ talents and expertise to position the company as a leader in the industry by collaborating on thought leadership content, participation in industry panels, and driving innovation.
  • Develop visual identity elements and brand positioning for multiple brands, including new Made-in-USA brand and existing brands within the family-of-brands umbrella
  • Coordinate a robust trade show schedule for multiple brands in the gourmet retail and foodservice categories, including booth design and planning, contract negotiations with exhibition partners, facilities/services management, onsite activations, and booth set-up and tear-down
  • Maintain a weekly schedule of email outreach to support CPG brands, including development of messaging concepts, copywriting and coordination with Sales and Ecom to assure alignment in messaging and offerings
  • Collaborate with Sales and Ecom on the development of the annual Promotions schedule with the goal of increased market share/placement and sales
  • Develop and execute social media strategies and plans to enhance brand visibility and engagement across traditional and new channels
  • Lead the planning, creation, and maintenance of ongoing 30/60/90 messaging plan, considering seasonality, product launches, inventory challenges, promotions and additional factors with the ability to adapt and shift quickly
  • Develop and manage overall department budget including a paid media plan to engage with consumers across the entire purchase journey, adjusting in real time to hit key metrics and KPIs
  • Design and coordinate a Public Relations strategy promoting new product launches and/or extensions, brand stories, and category-leadership editorial content
  • Manage relationships with external vendor partners in the areas of; public relations, media planning, trade-show exhibition, content creation, and influencer partners
  • Develop and produce point-of-purchase materials to support sales with retail partners
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce team to evaluate and plan for marketing technologies (e.g., automation tools, analytics platforms, etc.) to streamline campaigns and optimize customer engagement.
  • Lead internal communication efforts to foster a positive and collaborative company culture rooted in collaboration, respect, excellence, and accountability.
