About The Position

A well\-established professional services organization is seeking a strategic Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy, messaging, communications, and overall marketing execution for both the organization and a portfolio of client partners. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving measurable marketing performance, ensuring brand consistency, leading a creative team, and serving as the marketing lead on select client engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
  • Experience operating at a senior level with executives and boards
  • Proven ability to develop strategy, manage budgets, and analyze performance metrics
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Experience managing social media, websites, and email marketing platforms
  • Association or nonprofit experience preferred
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency with modern project management tools

Responsibilities

  • Own overall marketing strategy, positioning, and brand alignment
  • Ensure initiatives align with organizational goals, budgets, and contractual scopes
  • Establish KPIs and evaluate ROI across campaigns
  • Lead and manage a marketing and creative services team
  • Oversee execution of campaigns and deliverables to meet client expectations
  • Ensure marketing services align with client agreements
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans, budgets, and reporting frameworks
  • Research markets and competitive landscapes
  • Oversee digital campaigns, email marketing, advertising placements, and promotional efforts
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategy as needed
  • Guide development of promotional materials and themed initiatives
  • Oversee branding and creative direction
  • Write, edit, and proof marketing communications
  • Oversee social media platforms and content calendars
  • Coordinate website content strategy and updates
  • Monitor engagement and performance analytics
  • Serve as liaison to committees and boards
  • Present marketing reports and strategic recommendations
  • Support member communications and related engagement efforts
  • Contribute marketing strategy and positioning support for new business proposals
