About The Position

The Marketing Director at Wyndham Destinations is responsible for leading and motivating teams of In House Marketing Managers, Supervisors, and Agents to exceed team goals. This role involves developing and implementing training and staff development programs, managing relationships with sales and corporate partners, and overseeing performance management in collaboration with HR. The position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to customer service, ensuring that the marketing team meets its objectives effectively.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of marketing/sales experience required.
  • Internal Wyndham experience or external timeshare experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated successful management experience.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
  • Adaptability to change is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in WD Applications such as Journey, Wyntime, and Workday.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
  • Track record of excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • BA or BS preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and motivate teams of In House Marketing Managers, Supervisors, and Agents.
  • Develop and implement regular training and staff development programs.
  • Hold teams accountable for their results in booking tours.
  • Assist the Marketing VP in managing day-to-day relationships with Sales, Business, and Corporate partners.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Sales and site VPs on marketing strategies.
  • Oversee performance management in conjunction with HR.
