About The Position

The Marketing Design Officer is responsible for overseeing the marketing design function to ensure alignment with the organization's brand strategy. The role applies independent judgment to maintain brand standards across all platforms and provides expertise in developing and implementing brand strategies. The position independently manages agency and vendor relationships and oversees the design budget to ensure consistency, compliance, and effective execution of creative initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience managing design or marketing projects and driving brand strategy initiatives.
  • 5-7 years of experience in strategic roles within marketing, branding, or transformation functions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma or similar design tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital platforms, and branding best practices.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong collaboration and persuasion skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams or in an agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve design work for digital and print media including social media, websites, packaging, advertising, and presentations, to ensure adherence to brand standards.
  • Manage development and maintenance of templates, design systems, and creative assets to ensure brand consistency.
  • Coordinate collaboration among copywriters, photographers, and other creative resources to deliver campaign materials.
  • Monitor brand performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform branding decisions and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Maintain and refine brand guidelines, including tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging frameworks.
  • Support development and management of the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.
  • Manage vendor (creative agency) relationships and provide strategic direction to ensure deliverables align with organizational priorities.
  • Manage vendor (creative agency) budget and provide strategic input on multi‑channel advertising campaigns to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure delivery of internal design projects within required time frames and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to internal branding policies and compliance procedures, aligning creative output with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain processes and workflows related to brand management to maintain consistency and mitigate risk.
