About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining data warehouse and be able to produce analytical reports utilizing a variety of reporting tools/programs for the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel marketing department and other departments as requested.  Responsible for creating and maintaining databases to track key metrics, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns. Responsible for producing reports and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders and staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in marketing analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Data Science, Business, or related field. (Six (6) years of progressive casino marketing experience may be substituted for education requirement.)
  • Two (2) years of progressive casino marketing or related field experience.
  • Must have one (1) year of demonstrable casino/marketing analysis work, producing high level reports and recommendations.
  • Advanced demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, SQL or other data analysis/reporting tools required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Iowa Driver license and be insurable under MBCH’s policy.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and respond calmly in various situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
  • Provide departmental support and guidance to ensure the marketing team’s success.
  • Serve as an inspirational leader for team members while fostering teamwork, positive morale, motivation, and open communications.
  • Must be highly organized and effectively manage time and be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Re-prioritize tactics and strategies to achieve goals and objectives in dynamic market conditions.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift with little to no supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including public speaking.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to meet all internal training, professional development, and education requirements.
  • Must have well-developed financial analysis and management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Oasis Super Playmate and/or other casino player tracking experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
  • Understand analytical reporting, working knowledge of Customer Relationship management software, QCI, query language on the SQL and database management required.
  • Analyze pertinent information and present findings with a recommendation for improvement, including ROI increases.
  • Ability to create ad-hoc reporting for the operating departments utilizing various reporting software packages.
  • Ability to analyze data and to produce clean files.
  • Ability to assist in report writing/modification.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to troubleshoot areas, place service calls and keep management informed of critical situations.
  • Create Pre and Post Formas when required. … recommend edit: Design and development of all database analytics and compile pro and post forma analysis for all marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Maintain office integrity.
  • Complete production and special assignments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Maintain on-going communications with MIS for maintaining databases and extracting appropriate reporting data.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Meskwaki Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • Report to work on time and as required in casual professional attire, display an elevated level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
  • Comply with all departmental safety regulations, using safety equipment as required.
  • Assist in the creation of an annual direct mail marketing plan and budget in accordance with Meskwaki guidelines.
  • Stay within budget and communicate variances during monthly reviews with the Director of Marketing.
  • To foster teamwork, all Marketing team members are required to provide positive support of all co-workers, management, guests, and the company daily.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
