Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for researching, reviewing and interpreting market trends and customer needs and experiences to create marketing strategies for Hatco Corporation and subsidiaries. This role will also gather necessary data and create detailed reports on findings to advise management on new available markets and opportunities.

  • Perform valid and reliable market research on consumer and market trends, target demographics and competing brands.
  • Process and conduct data analysis, including cleaning, sorting, interpreting data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Utilize online market research for analysis and create and evaluate methods for collecting data (surveys, questionnaires, opinion polls, etc.).
  • Analyze complex datasets, synthesize insights, create dashboards and compelling visualizations to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor current customers and identify new customer bases to understand consumers behaviors.
  • Work with Marketing team to inform and develop marketing strategies at a global level.
  • Monitoring the efficacy of marketing methods using the latest tools and software.
  • Assist the Marketing team on other necessary tasks and projects.
  • Must be proficient in Word and other basic business computer applications.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization tools such as charts and conditional formatting.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and math skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills in order to interpret data.
  • Must be comfortable preparing and delivering professional reports to decision makers.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems preferred.
