About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and strengthening the Microtech brand across digital, print, and customer-facing platforms. This position is responsible for coordinating content, maintaining brand consistency, supporting communication initiatives, and helping manage the company’s voice across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of prior experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing required
  • At least 2 years of social media-focused experience preferred
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, polished, and brand-appropriate public-facing content
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Instagram required
  • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow company procedures and safety requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, edit, and publish content across digital and print platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, website updates, and promotional materials
  • Support daily social media activity, including content posting, engagement monitoring, and response coordination as appropriate
  • Help manage and maintain social media calendars, event calendars, and editorial calendars
  • Set up, update, and optimize company pages and profiles across digital platforms to increase brand visibility and consistency
  • Monitor social channels for audience engagement, competitor activity, and relevant industry trends
  • Capture and analyze social media and digital performance metrics and use insights to improve content effectiveness
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Relations, Engineering, and Leadership, to ensure accurate and timely communication
  • Edit and maintain website content, including event information, product details, images, and links
  • Write, edit, and optimize email marketing communications, including customer campaigns and newsletters
  • Draft, edit, and publish digital content within Shopify, with an understanding of SEO, keywords, and metadata best practices
  • Write and edit product descriptions for use across website, catalog, print materials, and advertisements
  • Review and edit internal and external written communications to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and alignment with brand standards
  • Coordinate content and information for advertisements, print media, and promotional campaigns
  • Manage and organize content stored on the marketing server
  • Reference engineering documentation to ensure accuracy of product specifications and details
  • Interpret and apply trademark and registration language accurately, updating content as needed when changes are communicated
  • Participate in daily meetings with the Marketing and Sales teams to review goals, priorities, progress, and tasks
