Our mission is simple: make world-class pet healthcare affordable and accessible to pet parents everywhere We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Coordinator extraordinaire! You'll help shape the voice of UPC by supporting and driving our marketing efforts across channels and stakeholder groups, with heavy support from UPC’s executive team and our external agency. This role currently reports directly to our CEO and is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain experience in both B2B and B2C marketing fundamentals in a fun and supportive team-based environment. You’ll thrive in this role if you are curious, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience. Our customers are at the center of everything we do, and marketing plays a key role in how we communicate to and engage with them. This hybrid role is based out of our sunny Tempe, AZ office, with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week after your 90-day training. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop skills across multiple areas of marketing over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, events, or a related field
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Data literacy with an analytical orientations
  • Openness to feedback and ability to immediately incorporate into your work output
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Experience using Canva and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with email sequencing tools such as Salesloft or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing or event marketing initiatives
  • Early experience using AI tools to support marketing use cases
  • Client or partner relationship experience in any industry
  • A desire to learn the ins and outs of marketing to our various stakeholder groups, and a passion for our mission!

Responsibilities

  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams - attending meetings as necessary and problem-solving to determine business needs and align marketing efforts against
  • Managing marketing request deadlines & communicating progress via our ticketing system Jira
  • Originating email and other copy for all audience groups
  • Originating and updating creative assets (flyers, infographics, etc) targeted towards all stakeholder groups
  • Assisting in event prep and live event support (both in-person and virtual events)
  • Supporting pre- and post- event strategy (emails, follow-up campaigns, ROI measurement)
  • Building/editing PowerPoint slides as needed
  • Launching, tracking and processing results of stakeholder surveys
  • Managing and tracking projects within Marketing budget
