About The Position

The Emily Hotel is a creative, culture-forward boutique hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market District, home to vibrant food and beverage concepts Fora and Selva. We’re seeking a highly organized, creative, and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support marketing initiatives across the hotel and its dining concepts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and execution and is eager to grow within hospitality marketing. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will help bring brand stories to life across digital channels, influencer partnerships, email marketing, and on-property touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or hospitality marketing preferred
  • Strong written communication skills and an eye for brand voice and tone
  • Experience managing social media platforms and basic analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp or similar)
  • Basic graphic design skills; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable juggling multiple brands and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for hospitality, food & beverage, and lifestyle brands

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management
  • Own day-to-day management of social media channels for The Emily Hotel, Fora, and Selva, with strategic direction from the Marketing Manager
  • Create engaging, on-brand content including photo, video, captions, and stories
  • Schedule posts and manage publishing calendars across platforms
  • Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community
  • Track, analyze, and report on channel performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • Influencer Relations
  • Scout and identify relevant micro, mid-tier, and macro influencers aligned with each brand
  • Coordinate hosted visits, including outreach, scheduling, and follow-up
  • Communicate internally with hotel and restaurant teams to ensure smooth and successful influencer experiences
  • Track influencer activity and measure performance against goals
  • Marketing & Administrative Support
  • Manage purchase orders and assist with budget tracking
  • Handle email communications using brand email accounts
  • Maintain and update brand calendars and campaign timelines
  • Support campaign brief creation and ensure documentation stays current and organized
  • Graphic Design & Creative Support
  • Execute light graphic design work for marketing needs, including menus, table tents, and small collateral pieces
  • Ensure all creative assets align with brand standards and visual identity
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and operations teams on design needs
  • Email Marketing
  • Create, schedule, and distribute email marketing campaigns across all brands
  • Maintain email lists and ensure best practices for deliverability and branding
  • Report on campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization
