About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator at Moraine Valley Community College is responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on integrated brand and marketing strategies aimed at enhancing student recruitment and retention. Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in marketing, advertising, business administration, or related experience, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, advertising, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Associated Press (AP) editorial style.
  • Experience working with project teams, including graphic designers and videographers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding oral/written communication skills.

  • Experience with project management solutions.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Knowledge of effective marketing communications techniques and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and report on integrated brand and marketing strategies.
  • Develop programs and facilitate activities that enhance the collegiate environment.
  • Contribute to the planning, creation, and execution of marketing and branding strategies.
  • Assist with digital marketing platforms, including social media and Google Analytics.
  • Collaborate with departments to create and manage website content using WordPress.
  • Write and edit marketing materials, including digital ads and social media posts.
  • Act as a lead point of contact for various departments to develop tailored marketing solutions.
  • Oversee external vendors for paid ad campaigns, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Organize and analyze campaign data to inform decision-making.
  • Create and maintain content for webpages, e-communication, and social media.
  • Ensure quality of the college's digital presence and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Serve on institutional committees and assist with special events as needed.
