About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing social media content and campaigns across various platforms. This role involves overseeing the creation of social content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis, monitoring analytics to identify viable ideas and areas for optimization, and providing support to the marketing team at events, including social media coverage and event operations. The coordinator will also provide customer service support through social media, research new digital trends for implementation, and assist in maintaining up-to-date digital influencer and media lists. Additionally, the coordinator will help maintain a photo and video library and assist in organizing layered, compelling events within the district or venue, such as concerts, family fun days, and festivals. Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, registration and attendee tracking, promotional materials, vendor registration, and conducting pre and post-event evaluations. The coordinator will also assist in coordinating materials with event sponsors and partners to ensure partnership requirements are met and distribute marketing collateral to promote events throughout the district.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, plus at least one year experience in a customer service or hospitality related field.
  • Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred.
  • Available to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting or independently.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, inventive, and energetic.
  • Organized, independent, and able to multitask.
  • Experience in hospitality and/or entertainment.
