Marketing Coordinator - Summer Internship
About The Position
An internship at Edges Electrical Group isn’t just a summer “job”, it’s a hands-on, immersive experience in wholesale supply chain/logistics supporting the Electrical trades. At Edges, our Marketing Team creates excitement and drives Sales through innovative marketing campaigns, driving B2B engagement, and by consistently maintaining a strong social media presence. As a Marketing Coordinator intern you will be immersed in our busy Marketing environment visitng branches, gaining an understading of our CRM and website, used to drive sales; and support our social media presence by creating engaging and innovative posts/stories/reels. In addition you will form supportive relationships with our branches and vendors. As the largest Wholesale Electrical Dstributor in Northern CA, we are excited to offer an internship opportunity for Summer 2026. The Marketing Coordinator intern will support the Marketing team in the areas of social media/employee engagement, photography and videography, and collaborate with the marketing team with the goal to increase brand awareness across various platforms. This internship will average 26-28 hours per week, and is a 100% on-site role at our location in Natomas, CA. Interns will be assigned a Mentor, who will provide training, daily feedback and support to ensure your experience is a positive one! The mentor will also be responsible for providing feedback to the management team of the interns’ performance, attendance, and communication for the duration of the internship. Interns who successfully complete program with success may be considered for part-time or full-time employment with Edges.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 2 years' current marketing or graphic design experience and/or related coursework
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing social media accounts with measurable success
- Demonstrated experience using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Experience shooting photos/videos for content purposes
- Copywriting experience
Responsibilities
