About The Position

Greater St. Louis, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their team onsite in St. Louis, MO. This position is critical in providing project support for initiatives aimed at attracting new companies, investment, and jobs to the St. Louis bi-state metropolitan region. The coordinator will assist in the development, organization, and delivery of marketing materials and site selection services, working collaboratively with regional partners to drive inclusive growth. The role requires a fast-paced, detail-oriented individual who can balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines while contributing to the mission of Greater St. Louis, Inc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in economic development, marketing, or related business development preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with graphic design, photo editing, or desktop publishing software is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Leadership skills focused on producing consistent, accurate, and quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of customized business attraction presentations and materials.
  • Work with the GSL communications team and outside vendors to build project scopes and timelines for new collateral.
  • Distill economic research into compelling content for presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Maintain and update the business attraction team's library of marketing collateral.
  • Support project management for client site visits, including arranging transportation and meals.
  • Manage itineraries, vendors, and marketing collateral for business attraction missions and events.
  • Manage distribution lists of local economic development partners.
  • Help plan and execute quarterly meetings of local economic development partners.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and year-end reports for the business attraction team.
