About The Position

The Marketing Consultant III, Health Plan Product Marketing will support strategic marketing and project management execution for the California Large Group product portfolio across sales & account management, broker, customer and consumer audiences. This position is part of the Business and Member Marketing team, which is accountable for growth marketing to channel partners and customers that drive new sales, retention and existing account penetration within commercial groups. This individual contributor is primarily responsible for assisting with the development and execution of integrated marketing communications strategies and programs and conducting market data collection and synthesis under guidance from more senior colleagues. This position assists the creative team, assists in marketing project management, implements marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, and implements strategic go-to-market plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Journalism, Humanities, Business, Social Science, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in marketing, communications, or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts market data collection and synthesis under guidance from more senior colleagues by interpreting data and insights to turn them into actionable, evidence-based marketing plans.
  • Implements marketing strategies aligned with business objectives by developing strategic plan deliverables and verifying brand consistency.
  • Implements strategic go-to-market plans by assessing and validating channel partner needs and performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Assists with the development and execution of integrated marketing communications strategies and programs by integrating business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and line of business.
  • Assists the creative team by gathering data, research, stakeholder input and sign-off to develop an understanding of the work.
  • Assists in marketing project management by developing and updating project plans and coordinating cross-functional stakeholder contacts.
