About The Position

SUNY Geneseo is hiring a marketing communications manager to lead marketing strategies for undergraduate, graduate, international, and transfer student recruitment. The manager will strategize, plan, and execute integrated marketing efforts to meet enrollment targets of prospective students through the applicant life cycle from inquiry generation through enrollment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields such as public relations, English, journalism, marketing.
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills for various digital and print media.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing inbound marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, CRM, social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Skilled in analyzing marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to the campus values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 5 years of experience in integrated marketing, preferably for higher education, in an agency or in-house setting.
