Requirements

  • Student returning to school for the Fall 2026 semester as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and awareness of current trends.
  • Must be a self-starter who can manage tasks independently while working collaboratively with the marketing team.
  • Must live within 75 miles of Sioux Falls, SD.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or experience in social media strategy, content creation, or communication studies is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or social media management tools (Canva, Adobe, Meta Business Suite, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on subscriber-facing communications, including email and SMS campaigns.
  • Help create, schedule, and publish social media content across platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Assist with monitoring and summarizing social media performance metrics to help identify trends and engagement opportunities.
  • Support community management by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct competitor and industry research to help inform content and campaign direction.
