About The Position

The Marketing Communications Coordinator at McCarthy Building Co. is responsible for supporting the Northern Pacific Region with various marketing activities. This role involves creating proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, as well as managing the proposal process and coordinating events. The coordinator will work closely with the regional Marketing and Business Development team to enhance client relationships and assist in the competitive procurement of major construction projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, Graphic Design, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience preparing technical documents and developing graphics to support messaging.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, especially InDesign.
  • Desktop proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM database management is a plus.
  • Ability to submit a copy of a graphic design portfolio for review.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Knowledge of public relations activities and social media management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of the pursuit process for proposals and presentation production.
  • Creation of proposals and presentations using InDesign, PowerPoint, and other marketing tools.
  • Development of written materials including brochures, project lists, data sheets, and resumes.
  • Management of the project qualification and proposal process, including coordinating the collection of project-specific information.
  • Proactive communication and management of the proposal process by tracking deliverable deadlines.
  • Assistance in strategy development for project pursuits, including client research and messaging.
  • Leading final proposal production including printing, binding, packaging, and mailing.
  • Maintenance of the CRM database, ensuring data integrity and conducting searches and reporting.
  • Coordination of events such as trade shows, client appreciation events, and community service projects.
  • Assistance with public relations activities, including press releases and award submissions.
  • Development of social media posts and writing stories for the company Intranet site.
