About The Position

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will support the marketing efforts of an innovative express car wash startup, focusing on public relations, marketing, and customer engagement strategies. This dynamic role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to contribute to various marketing initiatives to grow the brand's presence.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a similar marketing role, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling, clear, and engaging content.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with media outlets and local organizations.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and customer review management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Write and distribute press releases, blog posts, and other PR materials to increase brand visibility.
  • Manage and maintain media contact lists, pitching stories, and coordinating with media outlets to secure coverage.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local chambers of commerce and other relevant organizations to build community partnerships and increase brand awareness.
  • Coordinate and manage community events, including ribbon-cutting ceremonies, grand openings, and fundraising efforts for local causes.
  • Organize promotional events to engage with customers and enhance local presence, working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Plan and execute monthly content calendars, crafting engaging written and visual content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Write and schedule posts, ensuring content aligns with brand voice and engages with the audience.
  • Monitor social media platforms, track engagement, respond to customer comments, and log interactions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer inquiries via Customer Support Email Inbox, Yelp, and Google reviews, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and on-site managers, addressing concerns and scheduling inquiries to maintain a positive brand reputation.
  • Assist with the creation and execution of seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, and deliverables.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance to identify improvements.
  • Support post-campaign reporting and insights for future campaigns.
