About The Position

Our Marketing & Communications Co-Op would be stepping into a highly collaborative, innovative, and ambitious Fortune 500 company. Our Co-Op will create and modify existing slide decks, templates, graphic designs and projects of likeness. They will assist team with impactful feedback and ideas to develop and maintain standards of Berkley communications. They will focus on enhancing customer experience by creating meaningful messages, draft and review marketing communications, including internal communications, presentations, advertisements or brochures and review and edit materials to make sure content is clear, thorough, on brand and seek to preserve or enhance the companies' image. They will partner with our recruitment team to enhance the strength of the BTS brand in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal corporate communication skills
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles including accessibility standards
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and similar applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative development and delivery of an annual corporate report working in partnership with the corporate and BTS Marketing teams.
  • Create and maintain dynamic content across Berkley Technology Services including graphics, videos and PowerPoints that are based on strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in creating unified branding content that caters to all audiences for better customer alignment and engagement.
  • Adapt slide decks used by leadership team in administrative briefings.
  • Provide copy review for both internal and external communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at any one time.
  • Ability and desire to build relationships across organizations to better understand and showcase culture.
  • Aid in developing and maintaining standards of communication for all levels within the Company.
