About The Position

Join our team to develop and execute email campaigns, member journeys, and automation activities. Collaborate to implement customer journey strategies, ensure seamless data flow, and develop automated personalization processes, while staying updated on best practices in marketing automation. This position is expected to be hybrid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing technology or automation, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • SQL query proficiency.
  • Familiarity with data structure and data mapping.
  • Experience in creating complex email journeys.
  • Knowledge in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and knowledge in email platform rendering limitations.
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM, ePrivacy, GDPR, and related compliance requirements.
  • Proactive team player with strong problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and manage projects independently with meticulous attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
  • Experience in configuring personalization attributes on the web and in emails.
  • Understanding of SOAP and REST API implementation.
  • Salesforce AMPscript proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold UNFCU's mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members.
  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to develop and execute email campaigns, member journeys, A/B testing, and automation activities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to assist in the development of customer journey strategies, implement creative assets, and support data extraction for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with IT on implementing new solutions for automation needs across marketing technology platforms, ensuring a seamless data flow between systems.
  • Assist in developing automated personalization processes across marketing channels.
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing automation best practices, strategies, and industry standards, especially in the financial services industry.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for marketing automation processes, and provide training to team members on automation techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and engaging with personal networks and professional societies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.
