The Marketing Automation Specialist helps to support the marketing initiatives across Webstaurantstore.com and The Restaurant Store. In this position you will be working to both optimize the technology stack that powers marketing automation and launch various marketing campaigns. This is a highly collaborative role that works with designers, content writers, development and data teams to ensure we are on the cutting edge of marketing technology and automation. This position sits on the Marketing Automation team and would be eligible for remote, hybrid or in office working arrangements.

  • Help develop marketing automation systems and new capabilities
  • Transform data from our warehouse to be ingested into our marketing automation tool
  • Configure dynamic and/or personalized components in our marketing creative across channels
  • Work collaboratively to launch omni-channel campaigns and workflows in our marketing automation tool
  • Find opportunities to optimize marketing campaigns using data driven analysis
  • Help define customer segments and profiles for targeting and marketing automation
  • Conduct EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) on enormous amounts of marketing data
  • Collaborate with the team and colleagues around the organization on measurement projects
  • SQL, Ability to write scalable queries
  • Strong communications, organization, and teamwork skills
  • 3+ Year's experience working in an analytics related position, preferably in ecommerce.
  • 3+ Year's experience working with a marketing automation tool
  • Web analytics (Google Analytics or similar tool)
  • Attribution Modeling
  • Audience Building
  • Experience using data visualization software (ex. Power BI or Looker Studio)
  • Google Dataform (or similar tool)
  • Liquid/Amp script (or similar templating language)
