Position Summary Location: Santa Clara or San Francisco, Hybrid work available. Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift The Marketing Associate will support the California business by translating strategy into effective marketing deliverables that help our teams win work and elevate our brands. The primary focus of this role is building compelling pitch decks and pursuit materials in partnership with Sales. This person will actively listen to sales leaders, understand opportunity context, and transform complex ideas into clear, persuasive presentations. In addition to sales support, this role will contribute to event marketing, asset creation, and branded collateral across all California-based brands. The ideal candidate combines strong execution skills, design sensibility, and a collaborative mindset. Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, proposal development, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong design sensibility and some experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to translate business strategy into clear visual storytelling
  • Experience supporting sales teams in deadline-driven environments
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Clear communicator, comfortable engaging with senior sales professionals
  • Growth mindset and willingness to expand scope over time

Responsibilities

  • Build and customize high-impact pitch decks in Microsoft PowerPoint to support client pursuits across furniture, technology, construction, and manufacturing
  • Meet with Sales teams to understand client needs, competitive positioning, and win themes
  • Translate complex solutions into structured, visually compelling narratives
  • Support RFP responses with visual storytelling and presentation components
  • Maintain and evolve slide libraries, templates, and reusable assets
  • Create digital marketing materials, including lookbooks, brochures, one-pagers, case studies, and branded collateral
  • Partner with the central marketing team to ensure alignment with brand standards across all California brands
  • Leverage Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools to develop polished graphics and visual assets
  • Support regional events and industry conferences through the creation of event collateral, signage, digital invitations, landing pages, and follow-up materials
  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives such as landing pages, email assets, and campaign materials in coordination with the digital team
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Identify content gaps and recommend new tools or materials to strengthen sales enablement efforts
  • Support ad hoc marketing initiatives and special projects as business needs evolve
