About The Position

Ellipsis Labs is a profitable, venture-backed New York-based startup building sustainable and efficient DeFi protocols on high-throughput decentralized infrastructure. Our long-term goal is to build a better financial system.
Our flagship product, Phoenix Perpetuals, brings professional-grade perpetual futures to Solana. Building on our experience developing efficient markets, Ellipsis Labs also operates SolFi, a proprietary automated market maker that provides efficient liquidity for key trading pairs. Our foundational product, Phoenix Legacy, is a limit order book on the Solana blockchain that established our expertise in operating high-performance markets. Combined, these products have facilitated over $285B in trading volume across Solana markets.
All roles are in the Ellipsis Labs office in New York City.
Ellipsis Labs is seeking a Growth Associate to own and grow our brand presence across social media, content, and community. This is a role for someone who moves fast, has strong creative instincts, and wants to build something from the ground up.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience running social media for a brand, project, or product
• Familiarity with DeFi: you understand how protocols work, what traders care about, and how to speak to crypto-native audiences
• Strong design skills, motion, graphic or both, with a portfolio that shows what you can do
• Ownership mindset: you see projects through from idea to execution without needing to be managed
• Metrics-driven: you think in terms of KPIs even when none exist yet, and you push to create them
• Comfortable with AI-native workflows and actively using modern tools to move faster and produce better work
• Compelling communicator in writing and in person

Nice To Haves

• Experience with or fluency in perpetual futures and on-chain trading
• Event planning experience
• Copywriting background
• Existing presence or network in the Solana or broader DeFi ecosystem
• Experience at a DeFi protocol, crypto exchange, or trading firm

Responsibilities

• Own Ellipsis Labs' social media presence end-to-end, including strategy, content creation and performance across X, Telegram, and other relevant channels
• Produce high-quality content independently, including motion graphics, short-form video and written copy, using modern creative tools
• Develop and track KPIs for growth and engagement, and use that data to sharpen strategy over time
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns around product launches, partnerships, and ecosystem events
• Represent Ellipsis Labs at industry events and in external conversations, with the presence and confidence to command a room
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product to translate technical concepts into compelling content for a crypto-native audience
• Support partnership and community initiatives, contributing to how we show up across the DeFi ecosystem
