The Assistant - Photographer in the Research and Development department is critical in the collection and classification of images of all trials completed by the Research Department. Without accurate, timely images that are entered into the Research Database the value of very expensive trials will be greatly diminished. The Research Photographer will be taking images in the greenhouse and outdoors in the trial gardens under a wide range of temperatures. Approximately 8 hours of work each week will be needed to rename and file images. Typical weeks will require the Research Photographer to take and rename over 2000 images. Several weeks per year over 4000 images will be collected. Many trials will require the repeated lifting of plants so that the image can be taken in front of back drops. Successful candidates must be able to be able to work independently and manage their time to complete their weekly tasks.
