About The Position

The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in enhancing the Company's brand and online presence. This includes leveraging social media and marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, creating engaging content and blogs, and actively participating in community engagement. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will foster and maintain relationships with customers and clients, capturing leads and driving sales through these connections.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Experience: 1-3 years customer service, sales, marketing, or project management support required.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
  • Excellent writing and language skills
  • Successful at building and maintaining sales relationships.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense and understand how to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must be able to work under time and budgetary constraints. Must be a problem solver.
  • Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Internet; Adobe Creative Cloud, Power Point, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Creative Apps in Adobe Creative Cloud and other marketing tools to understand their features and capabilities.
  • Create relevant content for the COMANCO Blog and social media platforms to enhance online presence and drive marketing and sales efforts.
  • Assist in designing and optimizing the Company website, including improving content, functionality, and navigation.
  • Contribute to SEO strategies and keyword optimization to boost search engine rankings.
  • Support video marketing efforts by optimizing videos, managing search and keywords, and coordinating sponsored content.
  • Collaborate with other departments and guide employees on content development, messaging, and online reputation management, ensuring message consistency across networks.
  • Assist with marketing and advertising campaigns, including organizing promotional presentations.
  • Assist with monitoring trends in social media tools, applications, and design; quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns, including content creation and performance analysis.
  • Register for and coordinate trade shows, including assembling requirements, establishing contacts, and managing schedules and mailing lists.
  • Order promotional apparel and products for the Company.
  • Generate and monitor customer surveys and correspondence.
  • Take quality photos of employees, training sessions, and projects as needed.
  • Assist in the publication and distribution of the quarterly newsletter, The COMANCO Way.
  • Support event planning and execution for company events and promotional activities.
  • Help design, develop, and update brochures, inserts, announcements, and mailers.
  • Provide marketing overviews for new hires to ensure their engagement with the Company.
  • Assist Management with all other marketing related tasks as needed.
