About The Position

The UNM School of Architecture and Planning is looking for a Marketing Assistant to play a key role in marketing and outreach efforts for the School. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for providing still photography and video services at key events, processing photos and video footage for use in digital environments including websites, social media, and ads. Additionally, the assistant will support social media accounts by creating visual assets and organic posts and coordinating post sharing between School and department, program, and center accounts.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM.
• Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters.
• If Work Study, must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Nice To Haves

• Majoring in Fine Arts - Photography, Film; Marketing, Communication & Journalism, Architecture or related discipline.
• Proficient in digital camera use for capturing quality still photography and video.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite: PhotoShop and Premiere Pro.
• Agile in using social media platforms for business, particularly Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Meta Accounts Studio.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts, tactics and tools.
• Available to work up to 20 hours per week during regular business hours.
