Marketing and Sales Support Associate

About the position

The Marketing and Sales Support Associate provides administrative support to the Sales Manager and sales team. This role is essential in preparing marketing materials, coordinating with marketing on campaigns, assisting management with projects, and facilitating communication within the team. The associate will also be involved in onboarding new hires and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing marketing materials for sales manager and loan officers
• Coordinating with marketing on campaigns for the JV/Branch or Region
• Assisting Venture President or Regional Manager with pipeline management, as needed
• Assisting management with projects
• Assisting manager with reports, as well as analyzing them to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assisting with the coordination of sales meetings/events
• Assisting with distributing critical information to sales team
• Assisting with meeting planning, coordinating vendors and travel as required
• Assisting with the onboarding of new hires
• Attending Loan Officer Meetings and other necessary functions
• Communicating with borrowers, Loan Officer and internal support staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Facilitating Production Staff in the JV/Branch or Region compensation changes with Accounting/HR Depts. as directed from Management
• Completing expense reports for manager, obtaining proper authorization and submitting to AP for payment
• Obeying all applicable Federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

Requirements

• Has a bachelor's degree
• Has excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Is able to perform in a fast-paced environment typical to Mortgage Banking

Nice-to-haves

• Has experience in financial services and/or real estate, sales and marketing
• Event planning/marketing experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Sales productions and operations analytical experience
