We are a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare organization serving our community through our growing Substance Use Disorder Clinic, Primary Care Clinic, Pediatric Clinic, Quick Care Clinic, and Behavioral Health Clinic. We are looking for a creative, strategic, and community minded Marketing and Public Relations Specialist who is ready to elevate our brand, strengthen our community presence, and help people access the care they need. Quinault Community Health is located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by the great outdoors. Locally we have many city, county, state, and federal parks. We are surrounded by an extravagant number of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, ocean beaches, lakes, rivers, bird watching and much more. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or public relations within a healthcare, public health, or behavioral health organization
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with digital marketing tools, media relations, and content development
  • Demonstrated experience creating patient-focused communication materials that comply with HIPAA and healthcare communication standards
  • Proven background in community outreach, patient engagement, or health education initiatives
  • Understanding of healthcare terminology, services, and delivery systems
  • Familiarity with FQHC, nonprofit healthcare, or tribal health program operations
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and design tools, with the ability to adapt content to healthcare audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clinical staff, patients, and community partners
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canva, and Adobe
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the organization’s goals
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to utilize digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media and vendors
  • Ability to measure and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Ability to monitor and stay informed on healthcare industry trends, advancements, and innovations
  • Must possess excellent and ethical marketing standards
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • High-level understanding of marketing communications, relationship management and brand strategy
  • Must maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License and must be insurable through our company.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and propose integrated marketing campaigns to promote services, departments, and special programs
  • Coordinate with departments to identify marketing needs and opportunities
  • Manage the production of marketing materials (brochures, flyers, ads, signage, etc.)
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics and the return on investment
  • Develop and propose press releases, media advisories, and statements
  • Maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists and community partners
  • Plan and propose content for digital and print channels (websites, newsletters, social media, intranet, etc.)
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to produce visual content
  • Manage social media accounts and other forms of digital, and social media content
  • Track analytics to evaluate engagement and suggest improvements
  • Assist in creating internal communications, including staff newsletters, announcements, and other relevant updates.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and internal events
  • Support planning and promotion of community outreach events, health fairs, fundraisers, and other programs
  • Subscribes to the mission, vision, and values of QCH and QWC
  • Adheres to all QCH and QWC Policies.
