The Marketing and Partner Walks Coordinator is a part-time temporary position that supports Water Mission’s Walk for Water Program by providing administrative, communications, and coordination for Partner Walks. This role ensures Partner Walk Coordinators are equipped with the tools, resources, and information needed to execute excellent Walk experiences that align with Water Mission’s brand, messaging, and operational standards. This position serves as a consistent point of support throughout the planning, promotion, execution, and closeout phases of Partner Walks. In addition, this position provides general support to the Marketing team by creating and entering digital communications content, including email, SMS, and website updates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Water Mission’s voice and brand standards. This position reports to the Regional Walk Manager and is preferably based in Charleston, South Carolina, or within the United States' EST time zone.

  • High school diploma is required; an associate's degree is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Comfort working within templates, brand standards, and established processes.
  • Experience coordinating with marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as registration platforms, shared drives, and reporting systems.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public.
  • Engage and participate in prayer before and after team meetings.
  • Lead and participate in biblically based staff devotions.
  • Serve as a primary support contact for Partner Walk Coordinators.
  • Share Walk registration sites, resource packets, and promotional materials with Walk Coordinators.
  • Facilitate ongoing Partner Walk communication throughout the planning cycle.
  • Conduct post-walk debriefs with Walk Coordinators to capture feedback and insights.
  • Support the execution and renewal of Partner Walk MOUs.
  • Provide general administrative support for Partner Walks.
  • Confirm and document Partner Walk details, including dates, locations, and key contacts.
  • Set up and maintain Partner Walk registration sites.
  • Add Partner Walks to internal systems and tracking tools (e.g., Add Walk to Well).
  • Finalize total funds raised and update Partner Walk data sheets post-event.
  • Support International Walks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to equip Partner Walk Coordinators with approved stories, graphics, and specialized resources.
  • Submit and coordinate MarCom requests for additional materials (e.g., videos, presentations, or branded resources).
  • Create Partner Walk promotional materials from approved templates, including: Promotional posters (11x17, 8.5x11) Sponsorship packets
  • Manage Walk promotion resources and ensure timely delivery to partners.
  • Maintain Walk sites, including adding sponsor logos and updating sponsor levels.
  • Set up automated reporting for each Partner Walk, including registration and sponsorship reports.
  • Gather and upload photos to SharePoint and other designated platforms.
  • Coordinate sharing of walk photos and statements for: Social media channels Newsletters and internal communications
  • Engage with Partner Walk content by commenting on and sharing approved social media posts.
  • Support the Marketing team with content creation and execution across digital channels, including email, SMS, and website updates.
  • Draft and format basic email and SMS communications using approved messaging, templates, and brand guidelines.
  • Build donor journeys in designated marketing platforms.
  • Enter and update website content, including page edits, event details, and program updates, ensuring accuracy and consistent formatting.
