About The Position

The Marketing and Engagement Specialist is responsible for creating and executing strategies that foster strong relationships between the organization and its clients, employees, and stakeholders. This role combines marketing, community outreach, and employee engagement initiatives to enhance the organization's image and improve interactions. It requires excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and project management in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, marketing, engagement, or a related role.
  • Experience in community outreach or employee engagement is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data to guide decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, newsletters, and websites to promote the organization's mission, services, and community impact.
  • Assist with implementation of marketing and communication campaigns aimed at increasing visibility, engagement, and client outreach.
  • Ensure that all external communication aligns with the organization's brand values and enhances its reputation within the community.
  • Help plan and manage internal and external community events that support the organization's goals and engage stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and local organizations to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving morale, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Create and distribute internal communications that keep employees informed and motivated, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions and professional development opportunities to support employee growth and engagement.
  • Assist the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist with recruiting events and initiatives as requested.
  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of engagement and marketing initiatives, using data to make informed adjustments and improvements.
  • Provide regular reports on engagement metrics, campaign performance, and employee satisfaction to leadership, offering recommendations for continued improvement.
