The Marketing and Communications Specialist II is a vital role within the BRI Marketing and Communications department (MarCom). This position is designed for an individual who will support the production and maintenance of high-quality communications materials, assist in organizing both internal and external events, and contribute to a dynamic team environment. As a BRI brand ambassador, the specialist will engage closely with the media, public, scientific community, and internal staff to elevate the BRI brand. The ideal candidate is creative, understands various communication channels, and can produce targeted written and multimedia content tailored to diverse audiences. This role requires a person who values teamwork, possesses strong writing skills, enjoys community engagement, and is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will be organized, a dependable self-starter, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. It is essential for this team member to approach both exciting and mundane tasks with equal enthusiasm and attention to detail. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of three days on-site each week, to be agreed upon with the team.
